Approaching the land of (possible) unemployment...

If there are any of you who have checked back periodically, you know that it's been a long time since I've posted here. Mainly, it has been an issue of time - giving ample time and attention to my wife and daughter, maintaining a full-time youth ministry position, and building a computer sales and service business just about covers the 24 hours a day I've been allotted.

Earlier this year, through a grueling process that I won't go into today, God revealed to my wife and I that it was time to step away from youth ministry as a full-time profession. He also revealed to me that my primary passions are in the areas of worship and technology. I have always been passionate about leading worship and how we use technology to enhance the worship experience. I look forward to what God has for us next.

The process has been slow, however. As of July 31, my employment at Gun Lake Community Church will end. I have been searching for worship and tech positions at churches, but nothing has materialized as of yet. It gets incredibly frustrating at times, but God continues to assure us that He will take care of us as He has in the past. Seems like there is a verse somewhere that says that 'faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.'
